Granada
Grenada, a picturesque island nation in the Caribbean Sea, consists of the island of Grenada and part of the Grenadines archipelago. Its capital, Saint George's, draws visitors with colourful houses and lively markets. The islands are volcanic in origin, which gives them fertile soils and a mountainous landscape crowned by their highest peak, Mount Saint Catherine. A tropical climate makes December to May the best time to travel, when the trade winds temper the heat. Grenada is known for growing spices, above all nutmeg.
