The whole long haul flights are far too noisy. The boarding gate was changed at the last minute and I nearly missed the flight back to Shanghai from Phuket.
I tried to upgrade the flight from Shanghai to Gatwick and was told that this could be done at the boarding gate. When I enquired at the gate I was told that there were three seats available in business class but she could not tell me the price and indicated that I would have to see the crew. i did not do this.

Good
when i first booked with China Eastern, my friends were telling me Good Luck, it will be terrible flight. However i found it to be just fine and no complaints

Will not use this airline again
The service onboard was very poor it was difficult to have an attendant come to seat even when service light was on . I finally got up and walk up through business class and went through first class and still no staff so I just grabbed a few bottles of water and took them back to my seat in economy section

Well Connected
Have been travelling China Eastern for last 10-12 years . Reliable and punctual. The staff are very courteous and connections are very convenient
