Nuuk
Nuuk, the capital of Greenland, is situated on the island's southwest coast along the Davis Strait. Home to about 19,600 people, it serves as the main economic and cultural hub of the region. Here, you'll find the University of Greenland and the Greenland National Museum. Nuuk is also an important fishing port. Average winter temperatures range from -8 to -5 °C, while summer temperatures range from 5 to 10 °C. The best time to visit is summer, when the days are longer.
